Confirmation of Class Schedules
The Graduate School will not approve graduate Assistant Appointments unless and until the student has registered the minimum number of class hours. Please see the following section on Enrollment Requirements.

Each semester, it is the student's responsibility to ensure that enrollment confirmation/financial clearance of their class schedule is completed with Student Receivables Office by the due date as set out in the academic calendar for that semester. Even if the whole of a student's tuition and fees will be covered by an assistantship or fellowship tuition award, the student must still formally confirm their schedule.

All international students must also clear their registration and enrollment with the International Students Office before a graduate assistant appointment can be made. In particular, students must have passed the English Language Institute's Intensive English Program requirements or attained the minimum TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score before the assistantship can be awarded.
